Litecoin (LTC) and Monero (XMR) are among the altcoins recording modest gains as Bitcoin hovers around the $96K mark.
Meanwhile, DeFi token Morpho (MORPHO) and AI agent Zerebro (ZEREBRO) saw declines of more than 5% at press time.

Although not a sharp increase, both Litecoin and Monero recorded some price gains and became among the top gainers among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market cap.
The upward momentum pales in comparison to the recent gains of Virtual Protocol (VIRTUAL), Fartcoin (FARTCOIN), and Bitcoin. Pepe (Pepe)Mantra (OM), FTX Token (FTT), and Algorand (ALGO).
Litecoin reached $106.03 after buyers pushed above the $97 low, LTC once again broke above the psychological level.
Key indicators, the Relative Strength Index (RSI), and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) suggest that bulls may have the upper hand. However, both indicators suggest that downside pressure may still pose a hindrance for buyers.

At press time XMR was trading at $201.64, having fallen to a low of $183 on December 30.
Monero price is currently near the important resistance level of $200, which bulls may target as potential support in an attempt to break higher.
Notably, the price of the privacy coin reached $230 last month, increasing by 19% during the month.
A bullish setup for XMR is likely to consolidate with a breakout, in this case, an ascending triangle pattern.

Morpho, Zerebro prices fall
Morpho and Zerebro tokens were down more than 5% at the time of writing this report.
DeFi token MORPHO dropped more than 5% and was trading at $3.18. The price is still up by 11% on a 7 day basis.
The growth momentum in the protocol comes as the overall DeFi ecosystem expects rapid change in 2025.
Meanwhile, AI agent token Zerebro was also down. At press time, the price of Zerebro was trading at 0.6286.

Solana AI meme coin token reached a market capitalization of almost $700 million.
However, this is far less than the staggering market capitalization of $2 billion ai16z hit Since it went parabolic this week.
Along with these tokens, crypto analysts are also bullish on the broader AI token ecosystem.
