Police have recovered 300 bitcoin (btc) Mining equipment was stolen from a farm in Paraguay, following a major operation carried out by the country’s Anti-Hijacking Department (DAS).
According to Brazilian media outlets bitcoin portalThe operation was carried out after a burglary in the Paraguayan province of Alto Paraná in April.
Police said at the time that 492 BTC miners were stolen from a farm after its manager was “overpowered” by the assailants.
DAS said they raided a commercial property in the city belonging to President Franco this month.
They said they recovered 300 mining rigs from the property, along with cellular equipment, firearms and ammunition.
One person has been arrested and sent to jail on charges of assault.

The remaining 192 mining rigs are yet to be recovered.
Police said the theft was carefully executed, and that “about a dozen” hooded individuals attacked the Alto Paraná farm before making off with the mining equipment.
DAS claimed that the mining rigs were connected to power outlets and the internet.
Officials explained that all 300 rigs were in “full operation”.
DAS immediately began to cut off and seize mining rigs.
The Das said the man had been handed over to prosecutors.
