Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ: META) has announced Launch of a new service called Meta Quest+. Basically, it is a subscription service that will take users’ VR experience to a whole new level, allowing them to ‘browse less and play more’.
With Meta Quest+, users can get access to two new titles every month, without having to search through Meta’s vast catalog. On the first of each month, users will get to redeem, enjoy and master these titles, and if they keep subscribing, the value will accumulate, as users can keep all titles and add new ones, making their Library can grow.
The first titles selected by Meta are the FPS Pistol Whip – a physical action-rhythm game from Cloudhead Games – and the nostalgia-fuelled VR game-in-a-game Pixel Ripped 1995 from Arvor Immersive Experiences. Next up, in August, titles suggested by Meta will include Mighty Coconut’s Walkabout Mini Golf and Mothergunship: Forge from Terrible Posture Games.
The subscription service costs $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year. Until July 31st, Meta has a limited offer of only $1 off the first month’s membership.
