Andrew Bosworth, Chief Technology Officer Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ: META) recently revealed in an interview that the company’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, along with other top executives are now investing a lot of time in developing the firm’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.

The clamor around artificial intelligence has picked up a whole new momentum so far this year, especially with the emergence of OpenAI’s ChatGPT. ChatGPT demonstrated how AI can increase productivity in almost any field with human-generated content. Ask the app any question, and it’s very likely to be answered with a decent level of accuracy.
With the popularity that ChatGPT has gained over the past few years, many tech companies are now investing heavily in the new technology. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) and alphabet inc (NASDAQ: GOOGL) is launching Bing AI and Bard, respectively.
While most AI applications around are designed as conversational style chatbots, Bosworth has an insight that highlights how Meta Platform’s products will be different. According to him, the company is set to launch some of its new commercial AI products this year and their applications can be deployed to enhance advertising for users.
According to the report, Bosworth said the AI product could help its advertising buyers generate different images for their products that could help appeal to a wider range of audiences. This will bring more value to all customers and help increase click-throughs, he said.

While the application is more appealing to Bosworth based on their core roles at the company, he said the AI solutions it’s developing will eventually be applied to all aspects of the company’s business.
Meta Platforms’ growth in Metaverse is a pretty solid passion considering the entity is projected to lose more than $13 billion in fiscal 2022. Despite these pitfalls, CEO Mark Zuckerberg sees a future in the technology and hopes to be among the pioneers who will have the last laugh with their business innovations in the field.
